Shikara 2020 Movie Review
Vidhu Vinod Chopra’s Shikara 2020 is all about the exodus of Kashmiri Pandits from the valley of the haven- Kashmir. The movie has hit the big screen on 7th Feb 2020. Vinod has successfully portrayed the situation through the character of Shiv Kumar Dhar and Shanti Dhar- the lead pair. Two trailers were released earlier, and both of them gathered enough attention to make the crowd anticipate the release date. Now that the film is finally on the theater let’s see how much it impressed the audience.

30 years ago, almost 4,00,000 Kashmiri pandits got banished from Kashmir, and their agony of turning into refugees and their pain of losing their homeland is what the movie is all about. Before Vidhu Vinod, no one put light on this side of reality. Now it seems like Vinod Ji is successful in showing the truth to the audience.
Aadil Khan and Sadia play the lead roles. Their heart-wrenching love story grabbed all our attention. Vidhu Vinod had to face lots of political backlashes to make this film, based on a real story. But he was unbeatable. People are gushing that this movie is built on the life story of Vinod Ji’s parents.
However, the film’s story is a real gem in the era of mainstream Bollywood movies.
Shikara 2020 has received huge appreciation from the viewers. Vidhu Vinod Chopra has made a great come back with this movie. The songs are really heart touching.
